Natural Resources

The St Lucie County Natural Resources Advisory Committee identified four critical issues that needed to be addressed by the Agent: 1). water quantity, quality and preservation of natural water bodies 2). loss of green space and wildlife fragmentation (3) professional pesticide applicator training and licensing exams and (4) 4-H Schoolyard IPM. The Natural Resource Extension Agent will be responsible for conducting technology transfer and Extension educational programs designed to improve water quantity, quality and preservation of natural water bodies as well as mitigate the loss of green space and wildlife fragmentation.
